Triangle adults place second in ArenaPalooza II

The Triangle adult team consisting of David, Alan and Chris had another good showing in Atlanta this past weekend.

Saturday we played a team rated the same as us from Chukker Farm of Alpharetta, Ga. The drills and 1 on 1 work Chris, Alan and I had done showed great improvement in our game. The addition of April replacing mouse and Spice didn't hurt either. We rolled to a 19 -3 victory. David led all scorers for the day with 14 goals and Alan added 5.

On Sunday we played an ARPC team with JT, Stephanie and a 1 goal player Geoff Conroy. We were down 6-5 at half. All 5 of our goal came from the field. 3 of their 6 came on penalty 2's. So again we were not getting calls close to the goal. We gave up a cheap goal off a bowl in with 20 seconds left in the third. This seemed to deflate us going into the 4th as we trailed 10-7. ARPC got on a roll and scored right out of the bowl-in to pull away.

Again we showed big improvement as all the teams were higher rated and stronger than in January.
