Huge Crowd Shows up for Cary Challenge Cup

A huge crowd of 500 spectators showed up at the WakeMed Soccer Park to witness the Cary Challenge Cup! The game was close, with several lead changes, and the score was tied at half-time. In the end though, the visiting team from Atlanta claimed a narrow victory over the home Triangle team.

At halftime the Triangle interscholastic team put on a great demo and the crowd had fun stomping divots and practicing hitting from a wooden horse.

Many thanks to everyone who came out to watch; to everyone who volunteered to make the day a success; and to our friends from Atlanta. Also a big thank you to our hosts, the Town of Cary and the WakeMed Soccer Park, and our terrific sponsors:
